Cod Liver Oil is pure cod liver oil in 500 mg capsules. Supports the functioning of the heart, blood vessels and brain. The recommended daily dose of 2 capsules provides 1000 mg of Omega-3 with the most important polyunsaturated fatty acids EPA and DHA for the human body, as well as a significant amount of vitamins A and D3. Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A) is necessary for maintaining good vision, for the health of the mucous membranes, respiratory and digestive systems, for the body's resistance to bacterial and viral infections. Cholecalciferol (vitamin D) maintains the health of bones and teeth, prevents increased nervous excitability.

How Omega-3 fatty acids are factors in maintaining good health
Omega-3 belong to the group of essential fats that are not synthesized in the human body and are one of the necessary components of a complete healthy diet. They are a necessary element in the formation of cell membranes of tissues throughout the body, as well as the myelin sheaths of nerve cells, which are involved in the conduction of nerve impulses. Omega-3 are the building blocks of the most important bioregulators - eicosanoids, which have a wide spectrum of action. Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids protect internal organs and human cell membranes from destruction. Without a sufficient amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids in the body, the correct metabolism of essential substances, the adequate synthesis of tissue hormones and the optimal functioning of the nervous, immune and cardiovascular systems are impossible.
