• Phycocyanin is a water-soluble pigment-protein belonging to the group of phycobiliproteins - photosynthetic complexes responsible for light capture in blue-green algae. In the supplement, phycocyanin is extracted from Arthrospira platensis, also known as spirulina - one of the most complete microalgae on the planet. In this formula, phycocyanin is concentrated and carefully stabilized, retaining its full biological activity.

Phycocyanin has remarkable antioxidant activity – it has demonstrated the ability to neutralize reactive oxygen species, hydroxyl radicals and superoxides. It also induces the expression of protective enzymes such as heme oxygenase, superoxide dismutase and catalase.
