Honey is a food product with high biological value, rich in antioxidants, enzymes and organic acids, which play an important role in the immune defense and recovery processes in the body. When combined with active ingredients such as methylglyoxal and cinnamon, its effect is expanded many times over. The manuka honey used in the product has a methylglyoxal (MGO) content of 100 mg/kg, confirmed by laboratory analysis. This substance has persistent antimicrobial properties that are not lost during storage or heat treatment to moderate temperatures. MGO acts directly on bacterial cell walls and inhibits the reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms, which makes manuka honey particularly suitable for prophylaxis in seasonal infections, sore throat, gastritis or discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract.
The cinnamon added to this product is an extract from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum tree, used for thousands of years in cooking and traditional medicine. Its distinctive aroma and taste are due to the compound cinnamaldehyde, which also has proven anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
The standardized cinnamon extract (8:1) contained in Manuka Cinnamon is a purified, concentrated form that provides high levels of flavonoids and phenolic compounds. These substances support glucose metabolism by improving insulin sensitivity and helping to maintain stable blood sugar levels.
