Monofloral Manuka Honey UMF™ 20+ MGO 826, 250 g
ApiHealth UMF™ 20+ is a premium New Zealand honey, sourced exclusively from the Manuka bush. The product contains a laboratory-confirmed methylglyoxal concentration of 826 mg/kg. This value indicates strong biological activity and makes the honey suitable for daily support of the immune system and general health.
Main benefits:
- Supports the body's natural defenses
- Maintains normal microbial balance in the digestive system
- It is useful for seasonal and flu-like illnesses.
- Has stable antioxidant activity and supports cellular protection
- nbsp; Suitable for external application on skin irritations
UMF™ 20+ honey is sourced from clean, remote regions where conditions allow for the collection of high-potential nectar. Bees are located in natural areas with little human interference. This ensures a pure raw material and stability of the active ingredients. The honey is entirely monofloral, meaning it is formed from a single plant species and contains high levels of dihydroxyacetone. Over time, this natural compound in flower nectar is converted to methylglyoxal. The higher the initial levels of dihydroxyacetone, the stronger the final product.
The 826 mg/kg MGO content is the result of a natural process. After harvesting, the honey matures and the MGO concentration stabilizes. Producers analyze the product after a certain period of time to ensure the accuracy of the UMF™ rating. The UMF™ system is an international standard for the quality of manuka honey. It checks for MGO, DHA and specific markers to confirm the authenticity of the product.
Interest in manuka honey began to grow strongly after the publication of scientific studies in the early 2000s. At that time, laboratory data showed that high levels of MGO had significant antimicrobial activity. The news caused widespread interest. Consumers began to look for products with measurable and stable biological potency. New Zealand introduced the UMF™ standard, which guarantees authenticity. This contributed to its popularity. The trend quickly spread to Europe, Asia and North America, where honey began to be used in daily care for immunity and digestion.
Laboratory data shows that honey with high UMF™ activity creates an unfavorable environment for the development of various microorganisms. This effect supports the respiratory, digestive systems and the general immune response. Strong antioxidant activity contributes to cellular resistance and supports the functions of the body during periods of increased stress.
UMF™ 20+ also impresses with its taste. It has a thick consistency, rich aroma and a light herbal taste. It is suitable for direct intake and for adding to room temperature beverages. It is also applied topically to the skin when needed.
ApiHealth maintains strict control over the production processes. The bees are tracked from harvest to the final product. Each package has an individual code. This guarantees authenticity and consistency in quality.
The 250g package is enough for about 1 month with regular use of 1 teaspoon daily.
