What useful ingredients does the Curcumin tree contain?
Its fruits are rich in vitamins (A, C, E, group B), carotene, alkaloids, pectins, tannin, carbohydrates (fructose, glucose, sucrose, fiber), organic acids (tartaric, malic, citric), tannins, essential oils . Its fruits contain 22 alkaloids, but the most valuable are berberine and berbamine, which, due to their choleretic effect, facilitate the functioning of the gall bladder and liver. They have general strengthening, anti-inflammatory, bactericidal, antiseptic, sedative, neuroprotective, astringent, hemostatic, diuretic and choleretic effects.
