Dary Natury's Yerba Mate drink has energizing properties and removes mental and physical fatigue. Supports lipid metabolism and maintains proper body weight. The product is an aqueous extract of yerba mate leaves sweetened slightly with honey. The evergreen tree Ilex paraguariensis is common in the subtropical forests of South America.
Yerba mate contains caffeine, but the main difference with coffee is that the release of energy is slower and longer. Thanks to this property, the traditional Argentinian drink becomes an effective remedy against stress and fatigue, helping with energy and promoting concentration throughout the day.
Composition and action of yerba mate:
The leaves are rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, C, E and the minerals iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, selenium, phosphorus and zinc. Yerba mate also contains inositol, carotene, polyphenols, fatty acids, tannins, flavonols, chlorophyll, saponins and 15 amino acids. Saponins are anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating compounds that reduce lung damage caused by smoking. Yerba mate has the ability to simultaneously stimulate and relax the body, as well as clarify the mind. This effect is due to the content of caffeine, theophylline (with a calming effect) and theobromine (with a euphoric effect).
