Bringarage, also known as Eclipta alba, is an herb that has been used in India for centuries. It is widely distributed in various parts of temperate and tropical regions. It grows like a weed, reaching up to 40 cm in height. The root of the plant is gray and cylindrical, its flowers are 6-8 mm in diameter, and the stems are reddish brown and mossy. The flowering stem grows from the axil of the leaf. The taste of bringarage is pungent and bitter.
