EEA's POWDER - Essential amino acids (EEAs) are the building blocks of body proteins, i.e. they are used to build muscle. If even one of them is missing or in too limited a quantity, no or very little body protein/muscle mass can be formed. A normal adult can provide all the amino acids they need for a good nitrogen balance by taking about 0.4 g of a balanced EEAs mixture (Master-Amino-Acid-Pattern) per kilogram of body weight per day. Children and young people and probably athletes need a little more than 0.4 g of EEA per kilogram, because this group is in the process of building (muscle) cells.
EEAs are of interest to athletes , not only because they play the role of building material for muscles and other tissues in the body, but also because they STIMULATE muscle growth above the normal level and always when they are in a significantly larger amount in the extracellular space. The stimulating factor of increased muscle protein synthesis is primarily the subgroup of Branched Chain Amino Acids (mostly L-Leucine) in the composition of EEAs, while the remaining EEAs do not allow a deficiency of any essential amino acid and guarantee the construction of (muscle) cells from the available building material.
EEAs can be taken alone, with or shortly after a protein drink (for better protein bioavailability) and/or with BCAAs. The anabolic effect can be significantly increased by combining EEAs with 15 to 40 g of a high-glycemic carbohydrate product. EEAs, or any of the combinations listed above, can be taken several times a day, with supplementation shortly before, during and/or shortly after training having the most effective effect.
Directions for use: EAA's Powder - About 15 g dissolved in 500 ml of water. The resulting mixture should be taken before, during, and after training.
