Ecological Formulas® Lauravirin / Ecological Formulas® Monolaurin Cream 1% is an antimicrobial hand cream. Thanks to the effective combination of active ingredients, Lauravirin is characterized by antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action. It supports the regeneration of epithelial cells and stimulates the defense forces of the skin of the hands. The cream contains 1% monolaurin - an ingredient that has powerful antimicrobial and antiviral properties. The cream has a soothing effect on dry skin and has a pleasant effect on skin irritations of various origins - dermatitis, mild forms of psoriasis, herpes, hard-to-heal wounds and others.
Action of the main ingredients :
Monolaurin is a monoglyceride derived from lauric acid. It can be found as one of the main chemical compounds in coconut. Monolaurin exhibits antimicrobial activity by degrading the lipid membrane of various types of bacteria, including Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis.
Zinc gluconate is a chemical compound consisting of zinc and glucose that is primarily used in skin care products to help treat inflammatory conditions. Studies show that zinc can help reduce acne symptoms, reduce sebum production, and soothe irritated skin.
