Shankpushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis) is a perennial herbaceous plant. It is found in rocky areas during the rainy season (in some areas all year round). In appearance, it resembles the morning glory plant with blue flowers arranged in alternating positions. Shankpushpi inflorescences can be blue, pink or white. All parts of the plant are used as medicine in Ayurveda: the inflorescences, the fruits, the seeds and its roots.
