The herb is also rich in minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, iodine, zinc, manganese, as well as flavonoids, tannins and over 16 types of amino acids. A combination of useful ingredients turns the plant into a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, immunomodulating and hepatoprotective agent.
