Apricot (Prunus armeniaca)
Apricot is a heat-loving plant from the Rosaceae family. Today it can be found on almost all continents (America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia), but it originated in Armenia, so it is also called "Armenian apple". It is widespread including in Bulgaria, where it became a fruit crop after the Liberation.
Apricots are rich in various useful substances:

Composition and properties of Efime B17
Efime B17 contains apricot juice powder and apricot kernel extract, standardized to 1% amygdalin content, in an HPMC (organic cellulose) shell. Amygdalin, known as “vitamin B17”, is not actually a vitamin. It is a cyanogenic glycoside and a natural compound that is not produced by the body but is obtained from certain foods. From the 1920s to today, amygdalin has been the subject of a number of scientific studies and is gaining popularity as a natural cancer fighter. The B17 molecule contains: cyanide, benzaldehyde and glucose. It is cyanide that is considered the destroyer of cancer cells.
