The product of the Hungarian company Gallmed contains lyophilized ox bile, a source of bile acids that support the functioning of the gallbladder, stimulate the flow of bile juice, and optimize digestive processes.
Gallmet Natural provides support for a wide range of health problems related to disorders in the production and flow of bile :
- gallstones;

Impaired bile flow – a problem for overall health
Bile is a complex, vital fluid produced in the liver. It is transported to the gallbladder, where it is stored, through the bile ducts. After a meal, it is released into the small intestine to aid in the breakdown of fats and the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. The components of bile include bile acids and salts, phospholipids, cholesterol, steroid hormones, pigments and amino acids, electrolytes, antibodies, and more.
Irregular and insufficient secretion of bile acids is a risk factor for the development of a number of conditions, including those listed below.
Bile acids help eliminate unnecessary and harmful cholesterol. If the liver produces and secretes less bile acid (due to stagnant bile), fat digestion will be less efficient and the absorbed fats will cause an increase in cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.
Thanks to bile acids, cholesterol is constantly dissolved in the gallbladder. If bile acid production is insufficient, the cholesterol molecule precipitates and gallstones form.
- Endotoxins in the intestine
Stool is 75% water, the remaining 25% is undigested fiber and dead or living bacteria. When bacteria in the intestines are destroyed, endotoxins (fat-like toxins) are formed. Bile acids break down the accumulated endotoxin macromolecules into units of lower molecular weight and neutralize their toxicity.
Although psoriasis is most often due to genetic causes, its occurrence can also be associated with infections, inflammatory processes and metabolic disorders, largely due to endotoxins in the body. With a lack of bile and its improper drainage, endotoxins are not neutralized, causing the release of inflammatory cytokines and the development of various diseases, including lichen scaly (psoriasis).

Bilirubin is a pigment formed during the breakdown of red blood cells. It is excreted from the body with feces, and for this purpose it must be transported from the liver to the intestines via bile. Therefore, optimal bile production and its smooth drainage play a leading role in the excretion of bilirubin.

Can you take Gallmet Natural after gallbladder removal surgery?
After removal of the gallbladder, the body is unable to store bile and it constantly leaks into the duodenum. As a result, when there is a greater need for bile secretion (for example, consumption of high-fat foods), the fats are not emulsified and when they reach the large intestine, the intestinal flora begins to break them down. This in turn leads to increased gas formation, bloating, constipation, diarrhea. Gallmet Natural relieves these symptoms and returns stomach discomfort.
