Odourless Garlic 1000 mg is a food supplement with garlic extract and is odorless. Garlic has antibacterial and antifungal effects as a result of the substance allicin. Allicin is the substance that determines the pungent odor of garlic. When the integrity of the clove is broken, the enzyme alliinase is activated, which converts the previously odorless alliin into allicin. Particles of this substance take part in reactions with red blood cells (erythrocytes). This reaction forms hydrogen sulfide. It is characterized by an unpleasant odor, but it plays an important role in the interaction between cells. It reduces the tension of the walls of erythrocytes and the cells that make up blood vessels. In this way, garlic indirectly improves blood circulation, which leads to a decrease in blood pressure.
