Pferde Balsam, 100 ml , is a cosmetic product of the German company Karl Minck Naturheilmittel. The balm has a completely natural composition and contains many active ingredients such as horse chestnut extract (Aesculus hippocastanum), eucalyptus oil, thyme essential oil, shea butter, sea buckthorn fruit oil, menthol and camphor. It relaxes the muscles, improves blood circulation and has a pleasant effect on fatigue in the feet .
The use of the product is recommended for:
- intense sports loads or sports injuries;
- muscle tension and fatigue;
- joint stiffness;
- exhaustion after heavy physical work;
- inflammatory processes affecting the musculoskeletal system;
- swelling and pain in the limbs.
Properties of the main active ingredients:
Balm Dr. Bonses Pferde-Balsam improves blood circulation in the limbs and helps reduce swelling, inflammation and pain. The combination of natural active ingredients has anti-inflammatory properties.
- Eucalyptus oil (Eucalyptus globulus)
Eucalyptus oil has pleasant cooling properties, has a toning effect and effectively helps reduce muscle tension. It is anti-inflammatory and has antiseptic and antibacterial properties.
- Horse chestnut extract (Aesculus hippocastanum)
Horse chestnut extract is an effective therapy for circulatory problems. It helps to reduce swelling, pain, but also strengthens the walls of the capillaries and helps to disperse blood clots that have already formed.
It has been used for centuries to treat dysentery, bronchitis, hemorrhoids, and venous problems such as chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoids, and postoperative edema.

Menthol and camphor have a pain-relieving effect and are used in various conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. They are used for mild muscle or joint pain, and also for itching and pain caused by mild skin irritations. Camphor and menthol are local agents that help effectively neutralize pain. When applied to the skin, they cause a cooling sensation, then warm the application site. They relieve pain by making nerve endings less sensitive to pain and itching.
