Ashwagandha is used in traditional herbal medicine as an adaptogenic agent and tonic to increase vitality. It helps the body to adapt to stress and in the meantime strengthens the immune system. Nature's Way Ashwagandha Extract is standardized to 4% withanolides (the active ingredients in Ashwagandha). In Ayurveda, Ashwagandha is used to aid sleep, enhance memory, neurotonic and sedative for vata dosha imbalance, helps with general weakness especially when recovering from illness or in the elderly. Our standardized Ashwagandha extract is carefully tested and manufactured to the highest quality standards.
