In a 24-week randomized, placebo-controlled study, volunteers with elevated uric acid levels who took 500 mg of bachera extract capsules twice daily showed an average reduction in uric acid levels of 9.8% after 4 weeks. At the end of the study, uric acid levels had decreased by 28.4%, with no adverse side effects noted. This reduction allowed 89% of the participants who took the extract to achieve target serum uric acid levels.
