Magnesium Optimizer - 200 Tablets

Magnesium Optimizer® is a synergistic combination of nutrients that effectively optimize magnesium metabolism. Magnesium is important for the metabolism of nerve and muscle tissue. The combination of magnesium and potassium can be used by active individuals to maintain optimal electrolyte levels in the body. Athletes and all those who train actively may have additional needs for potassium.

Potassium is involved in the production of glycogen (our storage form of carbohydrates in the liver and muscles) from blood sugar (glucose). Inadequate potassium levels lead to inadequate glycogen storage. During heavy physical exertion, the body can quickly deplete its glycogen stores in its search for energy. Potassium deficiency can therefore lead to faster development of fatigue and muscle weakness, as well as delayed recovery from heavy exertion.

Taurine is a free-form amino acid and antioxidant that is a cell membrane stabilizer. Taurine enhances the effects of magnesium and potassium because it aids in osmoregulation (maintaining ion concentration).

Recommended Use: 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach before dinner or as directed by your qualified healthcare professional. For best results, use in combination with QH-absorb® (ubiquinol)

Other ingredients: Magnesium stearate (vegetable source), cellulose and silicon dioxide. The capsule consists of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
