Mattisson's Organic Pine Needle Tincture is an effective formula for boosting the immune system and improving respiratory function. Pine tips (buds) from mountain pine (Pinus montana), thyme (Thymus vulgaris) and narrow-leaved plantain (Plantago lanceolate) are added to the needles of white pine (Pinus sylvestris). As a product with healing properties, the tincture is absorbed by the body the fastest, as it does not pass through the digestive tract, but enters the blood directly through the oral mucosa. Herbal extracts dissolved in pure alcohol completely retain their properties.
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris)
Common thyme contains 0.8-1.2% essential oil, the main part of which is thymol. The chemical composition of thyme is also very rich in carvacrol. It also contains tannins, oleanolic acid, organic pigments, resins and terpenes.
