BioDigest is a broad-spectrum formula containing pancreatic enzymes (protease, amylase and lipase), betaine hydrochloride, L-Glutamic acid hydrochloride, ox bile /Bos Taurus/ and pepsin A /Sus scrofa/ to improve digestion and assimilation of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, as well as trace elements.
It has been scientifically proven that hydrochloric acid, combined with betaine and glutamic acid, normalizes the alkaline-acidic balance of the stomach.
The results of a study conducted in which people with impaired acid production took part found the following: within 10-15 minutes after taking 1 BioDigest capsule, the gastric alkaline-acid balance (pH) was normalized and remained so for more than 70 minutes. In this way, the absorption of substances dependent on the low gastric pH is effectively improved.
BioDigest also contains pancreatic enzymes designed to restore normal digestion in people with impaired pancreatic function, with protease, amylase and lipase activity. The enzymes in the product contribute to the efficient absorption of all macronutrients.
The inclusion of ox bile in the composition of the product promotes not only the effective absorption of lipids, but also of proteins. It regulates antimicrobial activity in the small intestine and has systemic metabolic and endocrine effects that affect thyroid function, glucose and lipid metabolism and homeostasis.
