Nature's Way Coconut Oil is made from pure, cold-pressed, extra virgin coconut oil that is not deodorized, processed or refined. It is unique in that it consists primarily of saturated fats that contain medium-chain triglycerides (most other vegetable oils consist of long-chain triglycerides).
Medium chains have advantages over long chains in that they are smaller, which aids cellular permeability, are easily digested, are not usually stored as fat, are less caloric, and are microbicidal.
These healthy fats support healthy internal response, memory, energy levels, healthy weight management, antioxidant activity, maintenance of normal cholesterol levels.
