Acerola is a small red fruit, also known as the “Barbados cherry”, which originates from the tropical regions of South and Central America. Highly valued for its exceptionally high vitamin C content, acerola surpasses even citrus fruits in this regard – it contains 30 to 80 times more vitamin C than oranges.
