100% natural Houttuynia cordata – an herb with traditional uses for drainage, cleansing the body and supporting the respiratory tract. Caffeine-free – suitable for daily use
Japanese Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata), also known as Chameleon plant or dokudami in Japan, is an ancient medicinal herb used for centuries in traditional Eastern medicine. It is considered one of the “ten sacred herbs” in Japan for its powerful detoxifying and anti-inflammatory effects. Houttuynia tea is a natural alternative to green tea – caffeine-free, but with exceptional potential to cleanse the body, strengthen the immune system and maintain internal balance.
This Japanese tea has a light, earthy flavor with herbaceous and citrus notes and can be consumed both hot and chilled. It is suitable for daily use, especially for people who want to take care of their liver, lymphatic and excretory systems in a natural way.

Action of the active ingredients
- Quercetin and hyperoside: These flavonoids have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. They neutralize free radicals, protect cells and the cardiovascular system. They help maintain normal blood pressure.
- Decanoic and lauric acids: Possess antimicrobial and antiviral properties. They act as a natural remedy against pathogenic microorganisms without disturbing the beneficial intestinal microflora.
- Volatile oils (methyl-nonyl ketone and hutiniin): They give hutiniin its characteristic fresh aroma and support the respiratory system – they open the bronchi, relieve coughs and clear the airways.
- Polysaccharides and organic acids: Stimulate immune cells and improve the body's natural defenses. They also support tissue regeneration and intestinal health.
- Antioxidants: Regular intake of hutinia tea helps reduce oxidative stress and slows down the aging process.
