Natural caffeine-free tea made from 100% pearl barley - promotes drainage, cleanses the body and creates a feeling of lightness. Suitable for fluid retention, swelling and in a weight loss regime
Japanese Adley Tea is a fine and balanced tea made from 100% dried leaves of Japanese pearl barley - a plant known in Asia for its soothing, anti-inflammatory and purifying properties. This tea is part of the centuries-old Japanese tradition of naturally maintaining health through the consumption of plants and grains. It is distinguished by a light, nutty taste and delicate aroma, which can be consumed both hot and chilled.
Caffeine-free, Japanese Pearl Barley tea is an ideal choice for people looking for natural hydration and calmness throughout the day. Thanks to its composition, it aids digestion, balances metabolism and contributes to maintaining healthy skin and stable energy.
Advantages and health benefits
- Helps detoxify the body - pearl barley helps cleanse toxins and improves liver function, thanks to the antioxidants and chlorophyll it contains.
- Improves digestion – the plant's rich fiber and enzyme content facilitates the digestive process and supports the intestinal microflora.
- Regulates blood sugar levels – traditionally in Japan, barley tea is used to balance metabolism and prevent sudden changes in glucose.
- Supports skin health – thanks to its high content of B vitamins and minerals such as zinc and selenium, tea contributes to cleaner, hydrated and more elastic skin.
- Supports cardiovascular health – the antioxidant compounds in Japanese barley help lower “bad” cholesterol and maintain the elasticity of blood vessels.
- It has a natural calming effect – as it does not contain caffeine, the tea is suitable for drinking in the evening or during stressful periods. It promotes relaxation, but without causing drowsiness.
Action of the active ingredients
- Pearl barley (Adlay / Job's Tears) – an ancient grain used in traditional Japanese, Chinese and Korean medicine. Contains bioactive compounds such as phytosterols and polyphenols, which exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects.
- Flavonoids and polyphenols – protect cells from oxidative stress, support natural detox processes and slow down premature aging.
- Amino acids and minerals (zinc, magnesium, iron) - participate in building immune defense, improve cell tone and recovery.
- B vitamins – support the nervous system, regulate energy metabolism and improve concentration.
This combination of trace elements and antioxidants makes Japanese Adley Tea not just a drink, but a natural daily ritual for balance and vitality.
