Barley tea with quercetin and black soy beans / Pearl barley tea with quercetin and black soy beans, 28 filter bags
This exquisite Japanese tea combines roasted pearl barley, black soybeans, sesame seeds and the plant antioxidant quercetin – a powerful formula for daily detoxification and maintaining harmony in the body. It is designed to maintain energy and concentration without the stimulating effects of caffeine, making it suitable for consumption at any time of the day.
Hot or cold, the tea has a soft, nutty flavor and a light caramel aroma – it brings a sense of comfort and balance, inspired by the Japanese tradition of “mugichha” (barley tea). The combination of roasted grains and natural phytonutrients supports metabolism, aids digestion and contributes to a calmer state of mind.
Main advantages and health benefits
- Caffeine-free - does not strain the nervous system and does not disrupt sleep, suitable for consumption even in the evening.
- Supports digestive comfort – roasted barley and soybeans contribute to better peristalsis and balanced intestinal microflora.
- Antioxidant protection – quercetin from onion peels neutralizes free radicals and protects cells from oxidative stress.
- It helps improve the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates, thanks to its content of GABA and plant proteins.
- Maintains a calm mind and nervous stability – GABA promotes relaxation and concentration without drowsiness.
- Mild detoxification and fluid balancing – barley and soy have a natural diuretic and alkalizing effect.
- Rich flavor and aroma – the result of careful roasting of the beans, which adds caramel and nutty notes.
Action of the active ingredients
- Roasted pearl barley: Contains beta-glucans, fiber and minerals (magnesium, potassium, zinc). It aids digestion, reduces the feeling of heaviness after meals and supports the body's natural cleansing. In Japanese culture, barley tea is considered a drink that "cools" the body and maintains internal balance during the hot seasons.
- Black Soybeans: Rich in anthocyanins, plant pigments with powerful antioxidant properties that support circulation and cardiovascular health. Black soybeans contain complete proteins and isoflavones, which help with hormonal balance, especially in perimenopausal and menopausal women.
- Quercetin from roasted onion skins: Quercetin is a flavonoid known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. It strengthens capillary walls, reduces oxidative stress, and may support the immune system. Combining it with plant proteins enhances its absorption.
- Sesame seeds: A source of calcium, magnesium, vitamin E and lignans, which support skin elasticity and cardiovascular health. Sesame seeds add a subtle oiliness and harmonize the taste of the drink.
- GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid): A natural neurotransmitter that promotes calm, reduces feelings of tension, and promotes quality sleep. Combined with antioxidants and amino acids, GABA promotes feelings of focus, concentration, and good mood.
