Two forms of collagen
Flexagen is an innovative composition of two forms of collagen: Natural type 2 and collagen hygrolysate. It is reinforced with a complex of minerals, calcium and phosphorus with patented formulas guaranteeing quality and good absorption. Manganese and copper are added, both of which are also in chelate forms + Albion Magnesium and vitamins C and B6.
What is collagen and what is it responsible for in the body?
Collagen is a specific group of proteins (so-called collagen proteins) that make up about 25% of all proteins in our body. To date, about 20 different types of collagens are known and described that are found in our bodies. Regardless of the type, however, they all contain small or large fragments of a triple helix, created from curved chains of repeating combinations of amino acids (glycine, proline and hydroxyproline). A similar structure is characteristic of all collagen proteins. It is on these amino acids that the product is based.
