The main active ingredient is bakuchiol oil. Its effect on the skin is similar to that of retinol (vitamin A) - it activates the "youth gene". Combined with plant-based squalane, which occurs naturally in our skin, the signs of premature aging are dramatically reduced. Skin damage from UV radiation, hyperpigmentation and wrinkles are also reduced. Bakuchiol Oil has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties and naturally stimulates collagen production.
What is bakuchiol?
This is a relatively new substance on the cosmetic market. It is obtained from a plant extract from the seeds of a plant called Psoraela corylifolia , which grows in China, India, Sri Lanka. It is widely used in Ayurveda.
How does Bakuchiol oil work?
Bakuchoyl has no structural similarity to retinol, but uses the same receptors. Like retinol, it activates a gene that regulates the production of elastin and collagen. Unlike retinol, bakuchoil has no side effects and is suitable for everyone.
