Alive! ® Max Max Potency Multivitamin is an iron-free formula. You might be wondering why, since iron deficiency is the most common nutrient deficiency in the world, according to the National Institutes of Health.
One of the main reasons is that the product is specially designed for people whose conditions are contraindications to the use of iron preparations and multivitamins with iron. These conditions can be - genetic disorders in the metabolism of iron, leading to its excessive accumulation; hemolytic anemia; frequent blood transfusions, in which the body quickly accumulates iron; gastritis or gastric ulcer, in which gastroprotectors were not administered, etc.
