Holland & Barrett Sea Kelp is a dietary supplement naturally containing the mineral iodine. Sea kelp is a type of algae, the original source of iodine, discovered in 1811. and widely used to treat goiter, a swelling of the thyroid gland associated with iodine deficiency. A natural source of 46 minerals, 16 amino acids and 11 vitamins, sea kelp is one of the richest natural sources of iodine, which is used by the body to synthesize thyroid hormones, which are involved in the regulation of metabolism. Iodine deficiency leads to problems with weight gain and an overall decrease in vitality. Taking sea kelp contributes to the proper functioning of the thyroid gland, helps burn excess fat, supports mental abilities and has a positive effect on the condition of hair, skin and teeth.
Instructions for use:
Take 1 tablet daily, with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Do not use as a substitute for a balanced and healthy diet.

from 15mg seaweed extract (Fucus veiculosus) (plant)
(standardized to contain 1% iodine) (35:1 extract, equivalent to 525mg seaweed)
Does not contain:
artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners, preservatives, starch, corn, yeast, gluten, ingredients of animal origin.
