Recommendations for use : At home, sprouts are prepared as follows: Take a flat plate, cover it with gauze or other water-absorbing material. Seeds are sprinkled in one layer on cheesecloth and poured with water, preferably boiled and lukewarm. Add water so that the gauze is always wet. Place the seeds in a warm and preferably dark place. Depending on the plant species, sprouts appear after 2-4 days. For coarse seeds, e.g. peas, soybeans, chickpeas, etc., or seeds with shells, e.g. pumpkin, sunflower, sprouts, cut before consumption, and fine seeds are used whole.
