Each Asafoetida Capsules contains 211 mg of asafoetida resin powder extract.

Asafetida is the dried oleoresin resin separated from the rhizome or main root of the Ferula plant, a perennial herb 1 to 1.5 m tall. The plant is native to the deserts of Iran and the mountains of Afghanistan, but it is cultivated mainly in India. It has a strong pungent odor and bitter taste and is used in a number of Ayurvedic preparations. Its characteristic smell and taste are the reason for its other name "devil's manure".

DR WAKDE's Asafoetida Capsules do not contain artificial colors, preservatives, sweeteners, dairy, starch, yeast, gluten, soy, eggs, shellfish, fish, animal products, nuts or GMOs and are particularly suitable for vegans and vegetarians due to the HPMC capsule used.
