The Aloe nutritional supplement of the EkaMedica brand contains 99.8 percent juice from the leaves of the well-known worldwide succulent aloe plant ( Aloe vera ), whose fame as a healing agent stretches back thousands of years. It was a popular means of maintaining the health and strength of Alexander the Great's warriors, and according to legend, it was to him that the general's army owed its invincibility.
More than 75 active phytochemicals and minerals useful for human health have been found in the composition of aloe:

Vitamins: A, C, E, folic acid (B9), B12 - powerful antioxidants that limit the harmful effects of free radicals;

Enzymes: alkaline phosphatase, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, cellulase, lipase and peroxidase. Bradykinase suppresses inflammatory processes, and the others support the breakdown of sugars and fats;

Aloe is perhaps best known for its beneficial effects on skin health. When applied topically, its leaf juice is known to relieve inflammation, stimulate collagen production, and stabilize hyaluronic acid levels to help restore and maintain youthful-looking skin. The same effect is achieved when it is taken internally.
Aloe contains eight enzymes, two of which play a key role in digestive processes – amylase breaks down carbohydrates, starch and sugars, and lipase helps digest fats. Anthraquinones have laxative properties that stimulate peristalsis and facilitate the passage of food through the gastrointestinal tract.
Aloe also contains prebiotics – substances that serve as food for healthy probiotic colonies in all parts of the digestive system. The active substances in the juice of the plant also support the recovery of damaged parts of the stomach and intestines.
In addition to many other active substances useful for health, aloe also contains the long-chain polysaccharide acemannan - a powerful immunomodulator that increases the permeability of cell membranes to facilitate the removal of toxins and the entry of nutrients. Note: Not to be used as a substitute for a varied and complete diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Recommended dose for daily intake of the product: 25 ml 2 times a day, half an hour before meals.
