Dary Natury's cistus drink is rich in polyphenols with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating properties. The product contains water, cistus extract obtained from organic farming and high-quality honey as a sweetener. Cistus (Cistus incanus), also known as cottonwood or rock rose, is a perennial shrub with beautiful flowers that grows in the Mediterranean basin and Europe - from Portugal to the Balkan Peninsula. It is an herb with many medicinal properties, as its polyphenols exceed those in red wine and green tea. Traditionally, the plant is used for inhalations, helps to cope with diseases of the upper respiratory tract, neuroses and seasonal depression. Drinks with plant extract are recommended as an immunomodulating and antiviral agent. Cistus decoctions are used for cystitis, painful menstruation, muscle pain and spasms. When applied externally, it is an effective remedy for rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis, bleeding gums and frequent nosebleeds.
Composition and action of cystus:
Phenols, aldehydes, pinene, camphene, linaquine, eugenol, ketones, sexterpenes and esters were found in the aerial part of the plant. Cistus extract contains alpha-pinene, fenchene, eugenol, borneol, cineole, beta-pinene and furfural. Polyphenols are powerful antioxidants, neutralizing free radicals that can contribute to many diseases. Polyphenols have anti-inflammatory and anti-atherosclerotic effects, strengthen the body and the immune system. Regular use of cistus infusion leads to the clearing of blood clots, which prevents a heart attack. A very strong antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal cleaning effect has also been established. The herb is also very useful for people who have given up smoking, as it cleanses the body of toxins and tar. Cistus helps in the treatment of Lyme disease - the substances contained in it attach to the Lyme spirochetes and neutralize them. The plant copes well with skin problems, helps with excessive dandruff and acne treatment.
