DGL is a high-quality product that stimulates the defense mechanisms in the digestive tract, it soothes, protects the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines. Reduces stomach discomfort. DGL is derived from licorice extract. The formula contains GutGard ^® patented extract.

Gutgard ^® is an innovative and clinically tested, bioactive, proprietary gut health product. Unlike other products focused solely on deglycylation, Gutgard ^® is a flavonoid-rich root extract of G. Glabra - licorice. It is completely different from Digitized Licorice Extract (DGL) in terms of composition, manufacturing process, mechanisms of action and physicochemical properties.

What is ^GutGard® ?

Gutgard ^® is extracted using a gentle and unique extraction process to capture the plant's bioactive flavonoid chemistry. The classic DGL extract does not contain a significant amount of flavonoids. Most of the generic DGL-based extracts on the market are byproducts of a process to produce glycine from licorice extract.

Gutgard ^® is standardized and contains ≥10% of total flavonoids and ≤0.5% glycine to avoid unwanted side effects - effects on blood pressure.

More than 50 flavonoids have been identified in Gutgard ^® . Licorice flavonoids have been found to be beneficial in digestive complaints. Gutgard ^® itself has been clinically tested and proven to be effective in dealing with stomach ailments. Gutgard ^® showed very good antiulcer activity as well as that against Helicobacter pylori. Due to the concentrated nature of the flavonoids, the effectiveness of Gutgard ^® is much higher at a significantly lower dosage than regular DGL.

Does not contain: Artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, dairy products, corn, gluten, salt, soy, wheat, yeast. Suitable for vegans/vegetarians.

Application : Contributes to maintaining good digestion, as well as maintaining normal levels of acidity in the stomach.

Dosage and administration : 1 capsule in the morning and in the evening after a meal.
