Tanacetum parthenium is mainly used to relieve migraine headaches. The herb has anti-inflammatory and relaxing properties, helps maintain normal blood pressure and contributes to physical well-being. The plant is obtained from organic farming. The beneficial properties of this herb are used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. It can be found in fields, forests, and also on the outskirts of cities. The smell of maidenhair tree is slightly musky.

What does the maidenhair tree look like and what does it contain?

Vratiga is a shrubby plant from the Compositae family. It has green leaves and inflorescences with a yellow tint. Its usual height is 30-70 cm. The stem is erect, branched at the top. Blooms in July-August. It is widespread in Europe, Asia and North America. It contains essential oils (camphor, camphene, p-cymene and bornyl acetate), flavonoids, alkaloids, substances with tannic properties, as well as numerous vitamins and minerals. In the Middle Ages, gorse bushes were grown in and around homes to purify the air, as they were believed to ward off the plague.

Beneficial effects of taking Tanacetum parthenium:
