The standardized extract of Saw Palmetto ( Serenoa repens ) is rich in bioactive, high-molecular-weight compounds, including beta-sitosterol, which is known to inhibit alpha-adrenergic receptor activity and help regulate inflammation and prostate enlargement. Clinical studies have confirmed that the beta-sitosterol in Saw Palmetto helps strengthen the urinary tract in men.
