Boswellia
Boswellia is the resin extracted from trees of the genus Boswellia, which grow in the dry and hot regions of India, the Middle East and Africa. Its main active compounds are boswellic acids, which inhibit 5-lipoxygenase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of inflammatory mediators. Myrrh

The main active compounds in styrax are cinnamic acid, vanillin and volatile aldehydes, which exhibit antiseptic, antibacterial and purifying properties.
Styrax is used in traditional medicine to treat respiratory infections, coughs, and bronchitis, by promoting expectoration and expanding the airways. In addition, its aroma has a calming effect on the nervous system, reducing tension. In ancient times, styrax was widely used in temple rituals and spiritual practices to purify the space of negative energies and enhance concentration during meditation.

Note: Use in a suitable incense burner on a flat, unvarnished, unpolished surface, away from drafts. The charcoal, even in its ember state, remains hot for about an hour – avoid burns or fire. Do not leave unattended. Ventilate the room after use. Avoid direct inhalation of smoke.
Recommendations for use : Light charcoal with a tong, place it in an incense burner on a layer of sand, wait for the crackling to stop and the edge to turn white, add a small pinch of resin, top up every 10 minutes, or for a softer burn, use a diffuser with water in the bowl.
