Black elder, the main ingredient in Sambucus Immune is a patented standardized extract of Sambucus Nigra-BioActives ® , demonstrating extremely high bioavailability. A number of studies indicate that it is many times more bioavailable and effective than other plant extracts. It has a unique anthocyanin profile. Anthocyanins are a type of flavonoids - powerful antioxidants, playing a key role in the fight against oxidative stress and free radicals, surrounding us daily in the environment - air, soil, food, etc. The BioActives ® extract is obtained from a special variety of Haschberg elderberry, which is grown in an ecologically clean area in Austria. The priceless raw material is the result of experience passed down through generations of farmers, carefully growing black elderberry in clean and fertile lands.
