• Devil's Claw Extract

Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a plant native to the Kalahari desert in South Africa. It grows in the savannas of Namibia, South Africa and Botswana. The roots of the devil's claw plant have been used for centuries by the Khoisan people of South Africa to treat pain, arthritis, indigestion and skin conditions.

Devil's claw extract has a unique chemical composition that includes iridoids, phenols, and bitter substances, along with some fatty acids and trace elements such as selenium, magnesium, aluminum, zinc, and calcium. Many of the benefits of devil's claw are attributed to a compound known as harpagoside, which is believed to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties.

The plant is commonly used to treat rheumatic conditions affecting the joints, tendons, bones and muscles. These include back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and tendinitis. It is also used in therapeutic practice for fibromyalgia, sciatica, neuralgic pain, gout and symptoms of Lyme disease.

• Menthol

Menthol has a refreshing and pain-relieving effect. It is used for various conditions affecting the locomotor system - mild muscle and joint pain, and also for itching and redness caused by mild skin irritations. When applied to the skin, menthol produces a cooling sensation, then warms the application site. It quickly relieves pain by making nerve endings less sensitive to pain and itching.
