Holland & Barrett Iron & Vitamin C is a nutritional supplement for the reduction of fatigue, for the normal formation of red blood cells, hemoglobin and the function of the immune system. Iron supports the transport of oxygen in the body and the normal function of the immune system, while vitamin C supports the absorption of iron and the function of the immune system. Sufficient amounts of iron improve the condition of the skin, tendons, muscle ligaments and bones, as it is involved in the production of collagen. Iron ensures proper brain function. The absorption of iron from food is not 100%, even the opposite. Reasons for this may be: low acidity of gastric juices and/or inflammation, vitamin C deficiency, high zinc consumption, use of large doses of caffeine, as well as some medications (painkillers such as paracetamol, aspirin and others), antibiotics (tetracycline), antacids and others.
Instructions for use:
One tablet daily, preferably with food. Do not exceed the daily dose. Do not use as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet.
Each tablet contains:
Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) – 60mg
Iron (as ferrous fumarate) - 14mg
Does not contain:
artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners, preservatives, added sugar, added salt, starch, milk, lactose, soy, gluten, wheat, yeast, additives of animal origin.
