Dary Natury's Tree of Life seeds are a product of organic farming and possess many qualities to support human health. The tree of life (also called the tree of chastity and known by its Latin name Vitex agnus-castus) is a woody shrub from the verbena family. It grows in the subtropical climate and can reach 4 meters in height. It blooms with beautiful purple, lavender-like inflorescences. It is most often used to relieve the symptoms of menopause and premenstrual syndrome. Contributes to the maintenance of well-being and cognitive functions. The seeds have an intense flavor and can be used as an ingredient in herbal tea or as a spice that sharpens perceptions.
One teaspoon of seeds is poured with a glass of boiling water and left covered for about 10-15 minutes. It is drunk 1-2 times a day.
What do the seeds of the tree of life contain and how do they work?
They are rich in organic acids (formic, acetic, propionic, butyric, valerian, caproic), alkaloids, tanning substances, flavonoids and vitamin C. The tree of life has a mild effect on substances with hormone-like activity. The seeds do not contain hormones, but they affect the hormonal balance by stimulating the pituitary gland and increasing the production of luteinizing hormone. This leads to establishing a balance of estrogen and progesterone, as well as reducing prolactin levels. It is the action of prolactin that causes the appearance of not only premenstrual mastodynia, but also fibrocystic mastopathy. The products created on the basis of Vitex agnus-castus are taken in order to normalize the work of the reproductive system, including as a preparation of the body for conception. The plant component protects dopaminergic neurons and modulates the activity of dopamine receptors. As estrogen-modulating substances, the seeds help to improve the general condition during hormonal fluctuations in the female body:
- During premenstrual syndrome;
- In cycle disorders (amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, anovulatory cycles) and menopause;
- For mammary gland problems with pain.
The tree of life also has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, vasoprotective and analgesic properties. The antibacterial effect of the plant helps to destroy the foci of infection without disturbing the balance of beneficial intestinal microflora.
